It houses a 1340cc in-line 4-cylinder fuel injected, DOHC liquid-cooled power plant that comes with 16-valves and Twin Swirl Combustion Chambers. To take its performance to the ultimate level it comes with an ultra light aluminum alloy pistons with a compression ratio of 12.5:1. It comes with Suzuki's SDTV (Suzuki Dual Throttle Valve) fuel injection system with dual 12-hole, Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) coating on the upper compression, Composite Electrochemical Material (SCEM) cylinder plating and Lightweight titanium valves coupled with Iridium spark plugs for top of the line performance not matter what the conditions are.

 There is no shortage of technology on the motorcycle that makes it one of its kinds on the planet. It has the drive mode selector (Suzuki Drive Mode Selector) to assist the rider to alter the engine performance according to the riding conditions and his likings. The exhaust system on Hayabusa is one of the best in the world with a large capacity catalyzer, dual triangular canisters and closed loop system.

Hayabusa comes with an optimized 6-speed transmission features oil spray to the 4th, 5th, and 6th gears, a lightweight and rigid twin-spar aluminum frame, fully adjustable inverted front fork, bridged aluminum alloy swingarm, and a beautiful and informative instrument cluster features four analog meters for speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge and water temperature with a S-DMS mode indicator, gear position indicator and adjustable engine-rpm indicator.

Front suspension is 43mm inverted fork that are fully adjustable and rear suspension comes with a single shock w/piggyback reservoir which is 4-way adjustable. Front brakes are dual 310mm disc with radial-mount forged 6-piston calipers and rear with 220mm disc with single-piston caliper.
