R1 WGP 50th Anniversary Limited Edition

I visited this new dealership of Yamaha, Hot Wheel Yamaha in Ludhiana as my brother wants to buy a new motorcycle and he was quiet keen on having a good look on the legendary R15 also along with the KTM Duke 200 and the CBR 250R. I got so impressed with the courteous attitude of the staff and the way they have explained about the products that I decided to write this small write-up about this dealership in Ludhiana.

Managed by young and dynamic Mr. Puneet Gupta (Director), this is a dealership that is run by sheer passion for biking. Mr. Puneet is the fourth generation of the dynamic entrepreneurs. The business was started by his great grandfather with a dealership of BP way back in 1907 and went on to become one of the oldest BP dealerships.  They also own dealership for Piaggio Ape commercial vehicles.

The way the business is conducted by Mr. Puneet shows his love for motorcycling. He never shy away from personally attending to customers when needed and make sure that a thorough explanation about the features and other aspects of the bike is given to the customer so that he can make a right choice. I was deeply impressed by his welcoming nature when I asked him for some time from his extremely busy schedule and he promptly obliged.

The day we went to interview him we were greeted by none other than the legendry R1 WGP 50th Anniversary Limited Edition that was showcased right in front of the entry point and was making a statement. The very sight of the R1 WGP 50th Anniversary Limited Edition made our day. Mr. Punnet took us to his office and another surprise that was waiting for us in his office was a R15 WGP 50th Anniversary Limited Edition beautifully displayed in his office. Mr. Punnet Gupta briefed us about the dealership and his passion for motorcycling. The 25% share of R15 in his sales shows both the popularity of R15 and his ability and passion to sell this great sports motorcycle and other models of Yamaha. Currently he has 3 orders for the R1 and one for the FZ1. I wish Mr Puneet and his team a great success.
